The U.S. dollar extended its previous session's decline against the euro and the pound at about 8:30 am ET Friday. The greenback hit a 1-week low of 1.4300 against the euro and a 16-day low of 1.6468 against the pound, compared to Thursday's close of 1.4146 and 1.6405, respectively. Presently, the greenback is trading at 1.4285 against the euro and 1.6444 against the pound.
