Conference Board's figures on Tuesday showed that France's leading index rose for six straight months in January.
The index, which measures future economic activity, jumped 0.4 percent in January, up from the previous month's 0.2 percent increase.
Four out of the seven components contributed to the index on the month.
The coincident index, which reflects current economic activity, rose 0.1 percent.
