Japan's final industrial production report for July is due at 12:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the report, the yen advanced against its most major counterparts.
At 12:25 am ET, the yen was worth 76.94 against the greenback, 121.21 against the pound, 87.05 against the franc and 104.76 against the euro.
