The Japanese yen that traded lower against its major rivals in the previous session staged a recovery on Monday morning in New York.
The yen is presently quoted at 77.04 against the US dollar and 121.47 against the pound, up from previous lows of 77.46 and 122.67, respectively.
The Japanese currency that fell to new multi-week lows of 107.70 against the euro and 87.21 against the Swiss franc in the early European session bounced back to as high as 106.10 and 85.89, respectively around 9:20 am ET.
