Data showed on Monday that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Taiwan increased to 3.84 percent in March, slightly up from 3.83 percent gain registered in the previous month.
From 451,000 unemployed people in February, it increased to 452,000 in March. The jobless rate last year totaled 462,000.
The labor force participation rate came in at 58.81 percent in March, the same rate as in February.
