Initial data from Statistics Denmark on Monday revealed that retail sales in Denmark rose for fourth straight month in April.
From 0.1 percent increase in March, Denmark's retail sales rose 0.3 percent on month in April.
Food and other groceries sales rose 0.3 percent, while those of other consumer goods climbed 0.4 percent.
There was a 0.1 percent decline in sales of closing and related goods.
On a yearly basis, retail sales dropped 0.8 percent in April, reversing a 2.6 percent increase in the earlier month.
