Friday, the Statistics Estonia announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 3.4% year-over-year in February, slower than the 4.1% increase recorded in the previous month.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages prices grew 20.5% on an annual basis in February, while clothing and footwear prices increased 0.7%. Transport charges dropped 8%.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices dropped 0.3% in February, after falling 0.6% in January.
