During early deals on Friday, the US dollar lost ground against its major counterparts. Currently, the dollar is trading at an 11-day low of 1.1489 against the franc, 1-week low of 1.2719 against the euro, 4-day low of 1.4283 against the pound and a 3-day low of 97.22 against the yen.
