The US dollar extended previous session's downtrend against the currencies of Europe and Switzerland on Monday morning in New York, hitting 6-day lows of 1.2509 and 0.9602, respectively around 10:15 am ET. The next downside target levels for the greenback are seen at 1.2570 against the common currency and 0.9565 against the alpine unit.
