The Australian dollar traded further higher against its Canadian and Japanese counterparts in New York afternoon deals on Wednesday. The Aussie is presently trading near new multi-day high of 81.74 against the yen and a fresh multi-month high of 1.0477 versus the loonie, compared to yesterday's closing values of 81.59 and 1.0443, respectively.
