The US dollar staged a sharp fall against the euro and the British pound at about 6:25 am ET Thursday.
The greenback was trading near new multi-day lows of 1.6039 against the sterling and 1.2919 versus the euro by about 6:35 am ET from early Asian session's highs of 1.5987 and 1.2827, respectively.
