The Australian dollar gained ground against the U.S. dollar on Tuesday morning in Asia.
The aussie reached 1.0453 against the greenback, its highest since March 28. If the aussie rises further, it may break 1.05 level. At Monday's close, the pair was quoted at 1.0426.
