The Singapore dollar firmed against the U.S. dollar in Asia on Wednesday.

The Singapore dollar approached 1.2481 against the greenback, a level not seen since May 16. On the upside, the Singapore dollar may find resistance around 1.24 level. The pair closed Tuesday's deals at 1.2522.
