The euro firmed against the Canadian dollar ahead of European deals on Thursday.
The euro hit 1.4330 against the loonie, a level unseen since June 2011. This is up by 0.2 percent from Wednesday's close of 1.4305. If the euro extends gain, it may face resistance around the 1.46 area.
