Results of the National Association of Home Builders showed that the housing market index slipped to 46.0 in February. The consensus estimates called for the index to have remained unchanged at 56 in February. The US dollar drifted lower against its major rivals after the report. As of 10:02 am ET, the greenback was trading at 1.3755 against the euro,1.6710 against the pound, 0.8880 against the Swiss franc and 102.32 against the yen.
