The U.S. industrial production data for March is set for release at 9:15 am ET Wednesday. The greenback moved on sidelines against its major counterparts prior to the data.
The greenback was quoted at 1.3836 against the euro, 1.6804 against the pound, 0.8795 against the franc and 102.23 against the yen at 9:10 am ET.
