Ireland's output prices fell for the sixth consecutive month annually in March, data from the Central Statistical Office showed Thursday.
The output price index fell 3.1 percent annually in March, following a 1.7 percent decline in February. Producer prices have been falling steadily since October last year.
On a monthly basis, wholesale prices dropped 0.6 percent in March, after a 0.2 percent decrease in the prior month. It was the second monthly fall in a row.
Producer prices for home sales declined 0.2 percent on a monthly basis, same as in February. Prices for export sales fell 0.8 percent, after a 0.1 percent drop in the previous month.
