The Malaysian ringgit weakened against the U.S dollar in the early Asian session on Friday.
Against the greenback, the ringgit fell to nearly a 3-week low of 3.2745, from yesterday's closing quote of 3.2690.
If the ringgit extends its downtrend, it is likely to face support around the 3.30 area.
