South Korea's consumer confidence index remained unchanged for a second straight month in April, a survey from the Bank of Korea showed Friday.
The consumer sentiment index showed a score of 108 in April, same as in March and February.
Consumers' view on the current living standards increased with the index rising to 93 from 91. The indicator for the outlook on living standards held steady at 10.1 for a third month.
Households' assessment of the domestic economic conditions also improved and the relevant indicator climbed to 91 from 88 in the previous month. The outlook indicator, meanwhile, eased to 101 from 102.
The survey showed that consumers expect inflation to be 2.9 percent over the following year versus 2.8 percent in the previous survey.
