Brazil's consumer confidence strengthened in June, after weakening sharply in the previous month, survey figures from the think tank FGV showed Thursday.
The consumer confidence index climbed to 103.8 from 102.8 in May.
The current situation index rose strongly to 109.6 from 107.2, while the expectations measure edged up to 100.7 from 100.6.
The survey was conducted among 2,000 households in seven major Brazilian cities between June 02 and 23.
