Taiwan's unemployment rate remained stable in November, data from the Directorate General of Budget Accounting and Statistics, or DGBAS, showed Monday.
The unemployment rate came in at a seasonally adjusted 3.87 percent in November, the same as in October. Economists had forecast the jobless rate to edge down to 3.86 percent.
The number of unemployed persons fell by 6,000 form the previous month and by 27,000 from the previous year to 451,000 in November.
On an unadjusted basis, the jobless rate fell to 3.89 percent in November from 3.95 percent in October. This marked the third consecutive month of a decline.
