The U.S. dollar weakened against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Wednesday.

The U.S. dollar fell to 1.0737 against the euro and 0.9541 against the Swiss franc, from early highs of 1.0715 and 0.9560, respectively.

Against the pound and the yen, the greenback edged down to 1.4943 and 119.51 from yesterday's closing quotes of 1.4925 and 119.65, respectively.

If the greenback extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 1.05 against the euro, 0.93 against the franc, 1.52 against the pound and 118.00 against the yen.
