The Australian dollar continued to trade in a positive territory against most major rivals in New York deals on Tuesday.

The aussie climbed to more than a 2-week high of 0.9635 versus the loonie and more than a 3-month high of 94.95 against the yen, compared to yesterday's closing values of 0.9490 and 93.52, respectively.

The aussie that ended Monday's trading at 0.7857 versus the greenback and 1.3857 against the euro hit a 3-month high of 0.7986 and near a 2-week high of 1.3707, respectively.

The aussie may possibly find resistance around 0.81 against the greenback, 1.35 against the euro, 0.975 against the loonie and 97.5 against the yen.
