The Swiss franc strengthened against the other major currencies in the early European session on Wednesday.
The Swiss franc rose to 1.0342 against the euro and 129.79 against the yen, from early lows of 1.0371 and 128.98, respectively.
Moving away from an early 4-week low of 0.9538 against the U.S. dollar and a 5-day low of 1.4674 against the pound, the franc edged up to 0.9469 and 1.4596, respectively.
If the Swiss franc extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 1.01 against the euro, 136.00 against the yen, 0.90 against the greenback and 1.43 against the pound.
