At 8:00 am ET Thursday, German preliminary inflation data for July has been released. After the data, the euro changed little against its major rivals.
The euro was valued at 1.0959 against the greenback, 136.30 against the yen, 0.7008 against the pound and 1.0635 against the franc around 8:05 am ET.
