The U.S. consumer prices for May and weekly jobless claims for the week ended June 11 are due at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Ahead of the data, the greenback advanced against its major rivals.
The greenback was worth 1.1166 against the euro, 1.4126 against the pound, 104.40 against the yen and 0.9683 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
