In the week of the week of the referendum, the pound registered its worst weekly performance since the 2008/09 crisis and this week, the pound is on its way to give its best weekly performance since the crisis, thanks to the quick appointment of Britain's new Prime Minister Theresa May and as Bank of England (BoE) held the monetary policy steady.
