The Office for National Statistics has published U.K. unemployment data at 4:30 am ET Wednesday. Following the data, the pound climbed against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 1.3114 against the greenback, 1.2951 against the franc, 139.60 against the yen and 0.8385 against the euro around 4:32 am ET.
