The New Zealand dollar strengthened against most major currencies in the late Asian session on Tuesday.
The NZ dollar rose to a 1-week high of 1.5565 against the euro, from yesterday's closing value of 1.5707.
Against the U.S. and the Australian dollars, the kiwi advanced to a 6-day high of 0.7063 and a 4-day high of 1.0652 from yesterday's closing quotes of 0.6995 and 1.0674, respectively.
If the kiwi extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 1.51 against the euro, 0.72 against the greenback and 1.03 against the aussie.
