Cabinet office released preliminary Japan leading economic indicators data for June at 1:00 am ET Friday.
After the data, the yen changed little against its major rivals.
As of 1:01 am ET, the yen was trading at 112.61 against the euro, 132.82 against the pound, 101.12 against the Swiss franc and 103.83 against the U.S. dollar.
