The Commerce Department has released its new home sales report for July at 10 am ET Tuesday. The greenback rose slightly against its major rivals following the data.
The greenback was trading at 1.1326 against the euro, 100.11 against the yen, 0.9612 against the franc and 1.3186 against the pound around 10:04 am ET.
