Poland's economy expanded at a slightly faster pace in the second quarter, as initially expected, latest figures from the statistical office showed Tuesday.
Gross domestic product rose an unadjusted 3.1 percent year-on-year following 3 percent expansion in the first quarter. The figure was in line with the flash estimate released on August 12.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, the GDP rose 0.9 percent from the previous quarter after a 0.1 percent contraction in the previous three months.
On a year-on-year basis, the economy grew 3.1 percent, which was slightly faster than the 3 percent reported earlier. In the first quarter, growth was 2.6 percent.
