Croatia's economic growth improved as initially estimated in the second quarter, latest figures from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics showed Wednesday.
Gross domestic product advanced an unadjusted 2.8 percent year-over-year in the June quarter, confirming the flash data, slightly faster than previous quarter's 2.7 percent expansion.
On the expenditure side, final consumption grew 3.0 percent annually in the three months ended June instead of a 2.9 percent gain reported earlier.
The largest positive contribution to the GDP volume change in the second quarter of 2016 was realised in the increase of the exports of goods and services.
Quarter-on-quarter, GDP rose a seasonally adjusted 0.5 percent from the first quarter, when it expanded by 0.6 percent. The preliminary estimate for the second quarter was also 0.6 percent.
