The Bank of Canada's interest rate decision and Ivey PMI have been released at 10:00 am ET Wednesday. The interest rate has been retained at 0.50 percent.
Following these reports, the loonie fell against its major rivals.
The loonie was trading at 1.2877 against the greenback,78.81 against the yen, 1.4491 against the euro and 0.9901 against the aussie around 10:01 am ET.
