The Federal House Finance Agency's house price index and the S&P Case-Shiller home price index for August have been released at 8:30 am ET Tuesday.
Following these reports, the greenback advanced further against its major rivals.
The greenback was trading at 1.0858 against the euro, 1.2176 against the pound, 104.76 against the yen and 0.9993 against the Swiss franc around 9:02 am ET.
