French presidential second-runner Marine Le Pen accused the front-running independent candidate in his weakest spot by describing him as a hysterical, radical Europeanist, who believes he can do whatever he wants with the country. She added, “He is for total open borders. He says there is no such thing as French culture…….There is not one area where he shows one ounce of patriotism.” She also described Mr. Macron as arrogant over his premature celebration. According to her, he celebrated with his group of celebrities as if it is over and he has become President, “It shows that this arrogant cast thinks it’s already won and can do what it wants with the country.”

Among all the 11 candidates, who took part in France’s first round of the election, the differences of opinion between these two are most extreme. Mr. Macron is planning for further integration with the European Union with open borders and joint militaries, whereas the other denounces the European Union and wants to bring France out of the European Union and restore national borders. The difference between the two has made the election on May 7th, similar to a referendum on the EU.

Madame Le Pen has also attacked Macron on terrorism front, for which she is the strongest candidate and the latest poll by Opinion way has shown that 42 percent French have indicated that fighting terrorism will be one of the most important factors in their decision, going into the election, especially after the terrorist attack earlier this month in Paris.
