Indonesia's inflation increased in May, data from the statistics bureau showed Friday.
Inflation rose to 4.33 percent in May from 4.17 percent in April. The annual rate almost came in line with forecast of 4.31 percent.
In May, Bank Indonesia had kept its key rate at 4.75 percent. The bank targets 3-5 percent inflation for 2017.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices advanced only 0.39 percent.
Core inflation that excludes volatile food prices and administered prices, came in at 3.20 percent in May.
