Following the release of Canada consumer price inflation for May at 8:30 am ET Friday, the loonie fell against its major opponents.
The loonie was trading at 1.4852 against the euro, 83.70 against the yen, 1.0051 against the aussie and 1.3286 against the greenback around 8:31 am ET.
