The pound slipped against its most major opponents in the early European session on Wednesday.
The pound pared gains to 145.86 against the yen, from a high of 146.33 hit at 1:30 am ET.
The pound edged down to 1.3011 against the dollar and 1.2417 versus the franc, off its early highs of 1.3048 and 1.2472, respectively.
The pound is likely to find support around 144.00 against the yen, 1.23 against the franc and 1.29 against the dollar.
