Austria's production index increased in May from a year ago, figures from Statistics Austria showed Tuesday.
The production index that combines output of both industry and construction, rose a working-day-adjusted 3.6 percent year-over-year in May.
Construction output advanced 6.6 percent annually in May and industrial production grew by 2.9 percent.
On a monthly basis, production index decreased a seasonally adjusted 0.2 percent in May.
