Malaysia will on Friday release Q2 figures for gross domestic product and current account, headlining a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
In the three months prior, GDP was up 1.8 percent on quarter and 5.6 percent on year, while the current account showed a surplus of 5.3 million ringgit.
Singapore will provide Q2 numbers for wholesale sales; in the first quarter, sales were down 5.3 percent on quarter and 5.0 percent on year.
