Destatis is scheduled to issue German producer prices for July in the pre-European session on Friday at 2:00 am ET. Prices are forecast to climb 2.2 percent annually in July compared to a 2.4 percent rise in June.
Ahead of the data, the euro held steady against its major rivals.
As of 1:55 am ET, the euro was trading at 0.9103 against the pound, 1.1294 against the Swiss franc, 1.1739 against the U.S. dollar and 128.34 against the yen.
