At 4.30 am ET Tuesday, the Office for National Statistics has issued UK public sector finance data. After the data, the pound rose slightly against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 1.2859 against the greenback, 140.61 against the yen, 1.2414 against the franc and 0.9156 against the euro around 4:33 am ET.
