After the release of the Conference Board's Consumer Confidence index for August at 10.00 am ET Tuesday, the greenback changed little against its major rivals.
The greenback was worth 1.2026 against the euro, 108.71 against the yen, 1.2943 against the pound and 0.9466 against the franc around 10:03 am ET.
