Hungary's foreign trade surplus decreased more than initially estimated in June, latest figures from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office showed Friday.
The trade surplus for June was revised down to EUR 998 million from EUR 1.06 billion reported earlier.
In the corresponding month last year, the surplus was EUR 1.16 billion.
The value of exports climbed 4.5 percent year-over-year in June, in line with the flash data published on August 8.
Imports rose 7.2 percent in June from a year ago, faster than the 6.5 percent increase seen in the preliminary report.
During the first half of this year, total trade surplus fell by EUR 604 million to EUR 4.8 billion compared with same period last year.
