Spain's industrial output increased at a slower pace in July, data published by the statistical office INE showed Friday.
Industrial production grew by adjusted 1.9 percent year-on-year following a 2.6 percent rise in June. This was also weaker than the expected 2.7 percent increase.
On an unadjusted basis, industrial output climbed 2 percent annually versus 3.3 percent increase in the previous month.
Among components, output of capital goods and intermediate goods grew 1.9 percent and 4.9 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, consumer goods output fell 0.5 percent and energy output remained flat.
On a monthly basis, industrial production decreased 0.3 percent from June, when it fell 0.2 percent.
