South Africa's wholesale trade declined for the sixth successive month in July, preliminary figures from Statistics South Africa showed Thursday.
Wholesale sales fell 1.1 percent year-over-year in July, slower than the 1.3 percent decrease in June.
On a monthly basis, wholesale trade rose 0.6 percent in July, following a 2.2 percent climb in the preceding month.
At current prices, wholesale sales grew 1.2 percent annually and by 1.0 percent monthly in July.
