Hong Kong's industrial production grew for the second straight quarter in the three months ended June, preliminary data published by the Census and Statistics Department showed Thursday.
The index of industrial production for manufacturing industries as a whole rose 0.4 percent year-over-year in the second quarter, following a 0.2 percent increase in the first quarter.
The sub index for sewerage, waste management and remediation activities climbed 1.6 percent annually in the June quarter.
Data also shower that industrial producer prices rose 3.7 percent yearly in the second quarter, slower than the 4.2 percent increase in the March quarter.
