At 5:00 am ET Friday, Eurostat published euro area foreign trade figures for July.
After the data, the euro changed little against its major rivals.
As of 5:05 am ET, the euro was trading at 0.8825 against the pound, 1.1471 against the Swiss franc, 1.1937 against the US dollar and 132.22 against the yen.
