The University of Michigan's preliminary consumer sentiment index for September has been released at 10:00 am ET Friday. Following the data, the greenback changed little against its major rivals. The greenback was worth 110.81 against the yen, 0.9586 against the franc, 1.3586 against the pound and 1.1971 against the euro around 10:02 am ET.
